About

Chris Franses taught LEA patchwork and quilting classes for many years, served the Quilters Guild of the British Isles at local, regional and national level, is a published author, was an Assistant Editor for Patchwork & Quilting magazine, and is still a frequent magazine contributor. She teaches regular classes at her local quilt shop and taught monthly workshops with Barbara Chainey.

Ann Jermey, a quiltmaker and teacher of many years who enjoys both teaching and talking. A hand quilter who also has a long arm quilting machine to quilt patchwork for other people – and her own as she knows quite well that she will never be able to hand quilt all the pieces she has started in this life time. She is also well known for her talk “It’s OK if its not finished” to encourage quilters not to try and finish everything they start – it is possible to have different projects at different stages on the go at the same time. She likes to work with scraps and has no particular technique or pattern that she is well known for. She can be seen at various quilt shows sitting and talking at a quilt frame. Just an ordinary quilter who teaches and talks. And we all do that don’t we?
